A Hitch In Time: www.imdb.com/title/tt0167989/ A Hitch In Time was an hour long children’s film originally shown in 1978 as part of the Friday Film Special film series. It can be seen on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZxQ-n9tz8g It has Patrick Troughton playing Professor Wagstaff an inventor of a time machine. Basically it was not unlike him being the Second Doctor in Doctor Who. Although he does get to time travel in A Hitch In Time like he did in Doctor Who, most of the time travelling was done by the two children stars of the film. Also like the Second Doctor, Professor Wagstaff tosses a coin when making decisions. A Hitch In Time has reference to Robin Hood. This may allude to the fact that Troughton had decades earlier became the first actor to Robin Hood on television. However he does not get to dress up as Robin Hood again. That instead was done by boy actor Michael Vey as Paul Gibson. Also featuring Jeff Rawle as a character the audience loves to hate. Overall it is an enjoyable romp of a small film.
